Efektivitas Positive Parenting Program dalam Mengurangi Temper Tantrum pada Anak dengan Gangguan Bahasa: Studi Kasus Intervensi

Abstract

Kurangnya pengetahuan, ketrampilan, dan kepercayaan diri orang tua anak dengan gangguan bahasa yang mengakibatkan temper tantrum pada anak mendorong perlu diadakannya Positive Parenting Program (Triple P). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi masalah perilaku anak dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kepercayaan diri orang tua melalui Triple P. Tahapan penelitian: pre-test, intervensi, post-test, dan follow-up. Pengambilan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif pada dua orang tua anak pra sekolah dengan gangguan bahasa menggunakan Multidimensional Assessment of Preschool Disruptive Behavior (MAP-DB) Temper Loss, Parenting and Family Adjustment Scales (PAFAS), Knowledge of Effective Parenting Scale (KEPS), skala kepercayaan diri orang tua serta observasi dan wawancara. Hasil analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, kepercayaan diri orang tua, serta penurunan frekuensi temper tantrum anak dengan gangguan bahasa. Triple P cukup efektif menurunkan frekuensi temper tantrum. Adanya cukup pengetahuan, ketrampilan, dan kepercayaan diri orang tua anak dapat mengurangi temper tantrum pada anak. Triple P dapat direkomendasikan untuk diberikan di PAUD, Puskesmas, dan yang melayani anak prasekolah dengan gangguan bahasa.
