Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan instrumen asesmen untuk mengukur kemampuan menyimak anak usia 4-5 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model RDR melalui tahap analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan instrumen, dan uji coba lapangan pada 60 anak di tiga sekolah di Kapanewon Depok, Kabupaten Sleman, Provinsi DIY. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan seluruh butir instrumen memenuhi kriteria dengan nilai r hitung lebih besar dari r tabel. Reliabilitas instrumen berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,934. Temuan tersebut menegaskan bahwa instrumen memiliki konsistensi internal yang kuat dan layak digunakan untuk asesmen kemampuan menyimak anak usia 4-5 tahun. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi guru PAUD dan penilaian perkembangan anak dengan menyediakan instrumen yang terstandar untuk memetakan perkembangan bahasa reseptif secara lebih objektif serta mendukung perancangan stimulasi bahasa yang lebih sesuai profil perkembangan anak.
